Job Stories From Johnson County, IN
Basement Waterproofing in Greenwood, IN

In order to remove the water drainage from this establishment our production crew needed to redirect the water to flow to a place in the lawn that would not cause any damages.

Basement Waterproofing in Nineveh, IN

Jason's basement had some water entering through his walls during heavy rains.  Without a waterproofing system in place, the problem was only getting worse over time.  Our Lead Installer Nolan and his crew installed a WaterGuard French Drain System to collect water passing through the walls and transport it to a TripleSafe Sump Pump.

The WaterGuard below floor drainage system was the ideal solution for Jason's issues, because it is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing.  This prevents the drain from clogging, assuring that it is an effective waterproofing process.

Jason is very happy with the project as a whole and understands where he can find all of his warranties for the installed products.  He even watched the majority of our crew's installation to better understand how the basement waterproofing system works.  Water passing through porous concrete basement walls is very common for many homeowners.  Contact us today if you have a similar issue in your basement.

Cracked Foundation in Franklin, IN

Homeowner Arlene was having major foundation issues that were causing significant cracks inside and outside of the home.  She noticed that these cracks were continuing to get worse over time and appear in several new places.  Knowing that these issues would not get any better, she contacted Basement Systems of Indiana for a free foundation repair estimate.  Our Sales Inspector Dave informed Arlene about how foundation repair products and how they can stabilize and repair large cracks.  For these specific issues, Dave determined that our Helical Piers would be the most effect solution to permanently repair the cracks and stabilize the home.

Our Foreman Todd and his crew members Holden and John were tasked with the challenge of installing the helical piers.  These plates help to pull the pier into the soil during installation and provide anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation or structural element is transferred to the pier.  Todd and the crew were challenged with adjusting the piers exactly right to ensure that solution is as effective as possible.

The job was completed in three and showed a massive transformation to the home's foundation.  The cracks were no longer present throughout the inside and outside of the home, and the Helical Piers also provided permanent stabilization.  The homeowner Arlene was very happy that she would no longer have to worry about the safety of her home.

Sump Pump Installation in Whiteland, IN

Homeowner Neil had a sump pump in his basement that failed after only a short time.  Concerned about his basement taking in water again without a functioning sump pump, he contacted Basement Systems of Indiana for a free estimate to have his basement waterproofing needs further examined.  Our Sales Inspector Josh informed the homeowner Neil about our different sump pumps for basements, but ultimately the TripleSafe Sump Pump made the most sense for this situation.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump will provide Neil's basement with three levels of protection against water and it even includes a battery backup in case of a power outage.  The primary pump can discharge 2,220 gallons of water per hour, while the secondary pump can discharge as much as 3,900 additional gallons of water per hour. In the case of a tripped circuit, power outage, or sump failure, the TripleSafe's UltraSump Battery Backup System will kick in.

Our production crew finished the Sump Pump replacement in just one day and the homeowner Neil was very happy with the results.  Neil now had a reliable sump pump system with three levels of protection against water, and an overall longer shelf life. Crawl Space Encapsulation in Whiteland, IN

Homeowner Dave in Whiteland, Indiana was concerned about his crawl space taking in water causing high humidity and higher energy bills.  He found Basement Systems of Indiana at the Indianapolis Home Show while searching for a reputable company who could repair his crawl space issues.  During the free inspection, our crawl space experts determined that an encapsulation system would be necessary in order to control moisture from building up.

Our Production Crew installed CleanSpace Vapor Barrier for a complete crawl space encapsulation that would prevent moisture from passing through the floors or porous concrete walls.  The CleanSpace transforms crawl spaces into a cleaner, drier, healthier, and more energy-efficient part of your home.

The installation was completed in two days and the homeowner Dave was thrilled with his dry, healthy crawl space that could now even be used for storage purposes.  If you have water and high humidity issues in your crawl space, fill out a crawl space repair free estimate form and our experts will help you out.  https://www.basementsystemsofindiana.com/free-estimate.html

Foundation Repair in Edinburgh, IN

Homeowner David noticed some foundation settlement around his screened-in porch.  He was concerned that costs could add up over time if the problem was not corrected so he began searching for reliable companies online and scheduled and appointment with Basement Systems of Indiana.  Our Sales Inspector Dave went to the home for a free inspection to come up with a solution.

During the inspection, Dave explained that the most effective way to stabilize and lift the foundation would be to installed Push Piers under the screened-in porch.   Push piers are installed next to the footings and attached with a heavy-duty steel bracket. Soil is backfilled around the piers once stabilization and lifting is complete to finish the installation.

Our Foreman Todd and his crew members John and Jon-Wesley installed the Push Piers in just one day, providing a permanent solution to the homeowner David's soil settlement issues.  If you have foundation issues with your home, contact us today for a free estimate!  https://www.basementsystemsofindiana.com/free-estimate.html

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Bargersville, IN

This homeowner in Bargersville, Indiana noticed a musty smell coming from the crawl space that was seeping into her home.  She was concerned about the air that she was breathing in and became interested in having someone look at the crawl space.  What really caught her eye, was a commercial on TV for Basement Systems of Indiana who she quickly reached out to for an appointment.

Our Sales Inspector Eric went out to the home in Bargersville, Indiana to provide the homeowner with a thorough inspection of the crawl space and a walkthrough of the entire home to determine any other issues that may need repairs.  During the inspection, Eric noticed water leaking seeping through walls in the crawl space, which was causing the high humidity and moisture issues.  He also noticed some foundation issues with the floor joists in the crawl space that was causing some uneven areas of the floors inside the home.

Our Foreman Sai and his Lead Installer Edwin encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier to prevent moisture, an energy-efficient SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, a SmartSump pump, and an EZFlo drainage system. To address the sagging floors in the home, the crew also installed SmartJack support posts for permanent stabilization.

Complete Basement Waterproofing and Finishing System for a Dry, Comfortable Space, Greenwood, IN

In Greenwood, a homeowner was looking for a lasting solution to basement moisture while also improving the overall usability of the space. After a thorough inspection by Devon, our team created a customized plan to protect the basement from water intrusion and finish it with clean, modern upgrades.

Evert and his crew began by installing the WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system to direct any incoming water safely to the sump system. To support wall moisture control, they installed the CleanSpace Wall System where needed and BrightWall paneling to create a bright, durable finish. CleanSpace Drainage Matting was placed beneath the liner to manage ground moisture effectively.

To help maintain dry air year-round, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to regulate humidity. For insulation and thermal efficiency, SilverGlo panels were installed as shown on the design plan. The project was completed with Elite Plank Flooring in Gray, tying the space together with a polished, modern look. With a full waterproofing and finishing system in place, this basement is now dry, energy-efficient, and ready for use.

Egress Window Installation & Wall Support - Edinburgh, IN

In Edinburgh, a homeowner needed a safe, code-compliant basement exit along with structural reinforcement. Inspector Cory recommended a full egress window system paired with wall stabilization.

Foreman Isaias and his crew installed a 48"x48" white sliding egress window, set within a Rockwell window well and topped with a secure lid. To support the opening, they placed a 72” concrete lintel above the window with up to two rows of block.

To ensure long-term wall stability, the team installed two Power Braces or anchors as specified in the job drawing. These supports are designed to counteract inward wall movement and provide continuous reinforcement—protecting the foundation from future shifting and helping preserve the structural integrity of the home for years to come.
