Foreman Emillio and his crew began by installing the SmartSump Pumping System, which includes a 1/3 HP Zoeller pump, CleanPump stand, airtight lid with floor drain, and a WaterWatch alarm system. To prevent flooding from frozen discharge lines, an IceGuard was added, along with a LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line.

To prepare the space for encapsulation, the team performed soda blasting for mold remediation in the designated areas. They then installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, sealing off ground moisture and improving air quality. Vents were sealed from the inside, and the space was converted from vented to conditioned using a Class 1 vapor barrier, proper insulation, dehumidification, and fresh air exchange at a rate of one CFM per 50 square feet.

For humidity control, the crew installed the Master Air Machine System along with a condensate pump to assist in water displacement. Electrical outlets were added as needed to power the dehumidification and sump systems.
