Job Stories From Montgomery County, IN
Wet, Moldy Basement in Crawfordsville, IN

Diana's basement had major mold and water issues that seemed to be getting worse over time.  The home was over 100 years old causing several challenges for our team, but our sales inspector and production crew were more than ready.  During the free estimate inspection, our Sales Inspector Jay determined that Drainage Matting would be the best solution to capture the water coming through the basement walls.  While typically our WaterGuard Drainage System is the ideal solution for basement water issues, the circumstances of the older home required the need for drainage matting.

Our Foreman Nolan and his crew members Nate and Nick worked efficiently to install the basement waterproofing system that also included a TripleSafe Sump Pump, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier.  This system will ensure that Diana's basement no longer leaks any water and the high humidity levels will be controlled.

The installation took Nolan and his crew three days to complete and the results of the 100-year-old basement were flawless.  Diana was thrilled with her newly waterproofed basement and was very impressed with how well the crew worked together.  If you have an older home that is experiences water issues in the basement, fill out this basement waterproofing free estimate form here:

Basement Waterproofing in New Ross, IN

This homeowner in New Ross, Indiana noticed discoloration in her basement walls and some dampness on the floor.  These issues gave her cause for concern that there was water leaking through her basement walls and onto the floor.  She began searching for reliable basement waterproofing companies online and reached out to Basement Systems of Indiana for a free, no obligation estimate.

Our Sales Inspector Jackson went out to her home in New Ross, Indiana to provide a thorough inspection of the basement.  Jackson was able to pinpoint where the water was coming from in the basement and recommended having a drainage system installed around the entire perimeter of the basement to redirect the water to a sump pump, which would then transport the water away from the home through a discharge line.

Our Foreman Emilio and his crew members Isaias and Olvin were tasked with completed this basement waterproofing job.  The crew first had to use a jack hammer to dig a trench around the perimeter of the basement.  The crew then placed our WaterGuard floor drainage system in the trench before backfilling it with gravel and sealing it back over with concrete.  A TripleSafe sump pump was then tied in with the drainage system to provide a source for the water to flow out of the basement.

Crawl Space Encapsulation in Ladoga, IN

This homeowner in Ladoga, Indiana had issues with moisture in her half basement half crawl space causing high humidity and the potential for mold growth.  Her concerns began when a musty smell was rising into her home from the basement so she decided to reach out to a reliable basement waterproofing and crawl space repair company who could resolve the issues in both below grade spaces.

Our Sales Inspector Tim went out to the home in Ladoga, Indiana to provide a thorough inspection of both the basement and crawl pace to determine a viable solution that would resolve the humidity and moisture issues.  Tim pointed out that a lack of a vapor barrier was causing humid air to rise into the home through the ground in the crawl space and moisture to seep through the walls in the basement.  He proposed a solution that included a sump pump and drainage system, combined with a vapor barrier to prevent the moisture from passing through.

Our Foreman Sai and his crew members Evert and Gavan encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed a sump pump with an EZ Flow drainage system.  This solution would keep the crawl space and basement dry and would prevent humid air from rising into the home and causing any health concerns or potential mold growth.

Basement Waterproofing in Waynetown, IN

A homeowner in Waynetown, Indiana noticed water pooling into her basement in two different areas.  The standing water had nowhere to drain out of the basement and began causing humidity and mold growth on the block walls.  Once the humidity made its way upstairs into the main level, the homeowner knew she had to contact an expert to come out for an inspection.

Our Certified Inspector Steve went out to the home in Waynetown, Indiana to determine where the water was coming from and propose a solution that would continuously redirect water through a drainage system out and away from the home.  Steve noticed several signs that water would eventually seep through other areas of the wall such as discoloration and a build up of a white powdery substance know as efflorescence.  He explained to the homeowner that having a drainage system installed around the interior perimeter of the basement to redirect water to a sump pump system.

Our Foreman Yahir and his crew members installed the WaterGuard perimeter floor drainage system on top of the basement footer to collect water seepage passing through the floor, walls, and at the footer.  Any water that seeps into the basement will now drain to a Single Pack sump pump and the through an IceGuard discharge line system out of the home.  To help the musty smells and high humidity in the home, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to condition the basement and create a healthier environment.

Basement Waterproofing and Egress Window Installation in Crawfordsville, IN

A homeowner in Crawfordsville, Indiana noticed water seeping through his block basement walls during heavy rains.  He believed that the majority of the water seepage was coming from a small existing window in the basement that he was also interested in having replaced.   The recent water leak gave him reason to finally consider having this window replaced with a much larger Egress window that would provide the basement with improved natural lighting.

Our Certified Inspector Jay went out to the home in Crawfordsville, Indiana to provide the homeowner with his findings in the basement and propose a solution for his needs.  During the inspection, Jay noticed discoloration on the walls and floor that showed where water had seeped through at one time and recommended that the entire basement be protected instead of just the area near the existing window.  For the egress window installation, Jay informed the homeowner that we would have to cut an opening in the block walls and then install wall anchors to stabilize the wall after the window is put in place.

Our Foreman Isaias and his crew members Olvin and Nazario installed WaterGuard floor drainage around the perimeter of the basement that will redirect the wall to the homeowner's existing sump pump.  The crew installed a beautiful egress window and a RockWell window well with a cover for an amazing basement upgrade.  The new egress window provides much more natural light and an easy escape route out of the basement in case of an emergency.  Geo-Lock wall anchors were used to provide permanent stabilize to block wall section that was cut out for the window installation.
