Homeowner Peggy had several issues with her crawl space including water leaks, humidity, and failing support beams. She began looking up reliable crawl space repair companies and found us on Angie's List. Our Sales Inspector Eric went to Peggy's for a free no obligation estimate to get a better understanding of her crawl space concerns.
Eric examined the support beams in the crawl space during the inspection, because Peggy was concerned about sagging and uneven floors in her home. He recommended that the floor joists be repaired to stabilize the floors above, a waterproofing system that would include drainage and a sump pump, and an encapsulation system.
Our Foreman Joe and his crew members Dalton and Omar used the SmartJack Crawl Space Support System to stabilize the failing support beams in the crawl space. They then encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to control mold and wood rot, lower utility costs for the homeowners, and keep away pests/insects. A SuperSump Pump was installed to remove any sitting water in the crawl space and a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was also installed to control the environment in the crawl space. The repairs took four days and Peggy was very happy with the results of her now dry crawl space and even floors inside her home.
