This homeowner in Selma, Indiana had some moisture issues in his crawl space due to a lack of a vapor barrier on the ground and he noticed some uneven spots in his floors. He began searching for reliable crawl space repair companies to improve the overall value of his house and found very positive reviews with Basement Systems of Indiana.
Our Sales Inspector Todd went out to the home in Selma, Indiana to provide a free estimate and inspection of the crawl space to determine a viable solution to the issues in the crawl space. During the inspection Todd noticed the dampness in the crawl space and recommended having a vapor barrier installed to seal the earth of the crawl space ground. As for the structural issues causing the sagging floors inside the home, Todd noticed that the floor joists had begun to fail and needed steel beams and posts to stabilize them.
Our Foreman Eric and his crew members John and Nick installed CleanSpace vapor barrier on the crawl space ground to keep the crawl space clean and dry. The crew then installed SmartJack support posts to lift and stabilize the floor joists, which then fixed the issue of sagging floors inside the home.
