Water Intrusion in Basement Before Waterproofing
Visible signs of water intrusion were present throughout the basement before work began. Moisture entering the space created conditions that required a comprehensive waterproofing system to help keep the basement dry and protected.
CleanSpace Wall System and PowerBrace Installation
The CleanSpace Wall System was installed to help manage wall moisture, while PowerBraces were added to stabilize the foundation walls and help prevent further movement. A concrete curb was also poured to prepare for the WaterGuard drainage system, ensuring water can be properly captured and directed to the sump pump system.
WaterGuard Drainage System Installation
The WaterGuard drainage system was installed in front of the newly poured curb to capture groundwater and direct it to the sump pump system. This drainage solution helps keep the basement dry by preventing water from reaching the finished floor area.
TripleSafe Sump Pump System Installation
The TripleSafe sump pump system was installed to provide reliable protection against basement water intrusion. Featuring three levels of pumping protection, including a battery backup system, it helps keep the basement dry during heavy rains, high water volumes, and power outages.
IceGuard and Exterior Drainage Line Installation
IceGuard protection and an exterior drainage line were installed to safely discharge water away from the home. This system helps prevent backups caused by frozen discharge lines and ensures water is directed away from the foundation year-round.
