Visible Water Intrusion Before Waterproofing
Before the waterproofing system was installed, the basement floor showed clear signs of water intrusion. Moisture entering the space created conditions that could lead to water damage, making a comprehensive drainage and sump pump system necessary to keep the basement dry and protected.
WaterGuard Drainage System Installation
After the perimeter of the basement was dug, the WaterGuard drainage system was installed below the floor surface to capture groundwater before it could enter the basement. This hidden drainage system directs water to the sump pump, providing long-term protection against water intrusion and helping keep the basement dry.
Concrete Restored Over WaterGuard Drainage System
After the WaterGuard drainage system was installed, concrete was poured over the trench to restore the basement floor. This creates a finished appearance while keeping the drainage system hidden beneath the floor where it can effectively collect and direct groundwater to the sump pump system.
TripleSafe Sump Pump, Battery Backup, and SaniDry Sedona Installation
The TripleSafe sump pump system, UltraSump battery backup, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier were installed to provide complete basement moisture protection. Together, these systems remove groundwater, control humidity, and ensure the basement remains dry and protected even during heavy storms and power outages.
IceGuard and Exterior Discharge Line Installation
The exterior discharge line was buried and installed to safely carry water away from the home's foundation. IceGuard protection was added to help prevent backups caused by frozen discharge lines, ensuring the waterproofing system can continue operating properly throughout the year.
