A Fully Protected Basement in Columbus
Before the project, Robert had dealt with severe basement flooding during heavy rains—sometimes up to a foot of water, damaging flooring and belongings. With plans to stay in the home long‑term and eventually finish the basement, he scheduled a free inspection and estimate, and Cory recommended a full waterproofing system with wall protection and window well drainage.
After work began, the transformation was significant. Because water had also been entering through the window wells, the crew installed a WellDuct drainage system and set the new egress window and well in place, reinforcing the opening with PowerBraces. Rim joist insulation was added to improve comfort and energy efficiency—an important upgrade for any future basement plans.
