Before contacting Basement Systems of Indiana, Michael and Nadine were looking to improve their basement’s natural light and address concerns about structural stability. They scheduled a free inspection to explore options for a new egress window and foundation support.
Specialist Terry recommended installing a RockWell egress window system with structural enhancements, including a concrete lintel and wall anchors. Foreman Isaias and his crew installed a 48”x48” white sliding window with a RockWell and lid, reinforced by a 72” concrete lintel and up to two rows of block. To stabilize the foundation wall, two PowerBraces were added.
While the window well improves access and light, it does not include waterproofing, so water may collect if not tied into a drainage system. Excavated dirt was left on-site for homeowner use.
