A homeowner in Franklin, Indiana was concerned about the condition of his crawl space after noticing musty smells and dampness inside his home. Our Foreman Evert and his crew members Miguel, Edwin, and Ramon sealed the crawl space ground and walls with CleanSpace vapor barrier and installed SilverGlo thermal wall insulation to change the environment in the crawl space.
A homeowner in Franklin, Indiana was concerned about possible mold growth in his crawl space after noticing musty smells in his home. Our Certified Field Inspector Cory provided a thorough inspection of the crawl space and noticed significant mold growth and wood rot due to high humidity in the crawl space. Cory recommended a encapsulating the crawl space with a thick, durable barrier on the ground and walls along with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to help control the environment. To mitigate the mold growth on the wood, we used a soda blasting technique. The project was installed by our Foreman Josh and his crew members Nelson and Allam.
Before the project, Catherine had lived with a persistent mold smell creeping into her home for years. Unsure of the source and wanting a long‑term fix, she scheduled a free inspection and estimate, and Cory discovered moisture and organic buildup inside the crawl space.
After the crew got to work, the space was completely refreshed. Josh and his team used soda blasting to safely clean mold and residue from the wood, then installed a SmartSump system with an airtight lid and WaterWatch alarm for reliable moisture control. Outside, IceGuard fittings and a LawnScape outlet ensured water could discharge safely year‑round. A 10‑mil vapor barrier was added inside to help reduce ground moisture and improve air quality moving forward.
Catherine now has a cleaner, healthier crawl space with improved protection against future issues. If you’re dealing with crawl space odors or moisture concerns, schedule your free estimate today:

A homeowner in Tipton, Indiana was concerned about humidity and musty smells rising into her home from the crawl space. Our Certified Inspector Mike recommended sealing and insulating the crawl space to help reduce humidity and moisture levels. Our Foreman Josh and his crew members treated the crawl space of mold growth using baking soda and installed CleanSpace moisture barrier for the encapsulation system.
Steve’s crawl space in Tipton was damp, moldy, and poorly insulated, raising concerns about air quality and energy efficiency. He contacted Basement Systems of Indiana for a free inspection and estimate to find a lasting solution.
After the inspection, our team recommended a full encapsulation system with sump pump installation, insulation upgrades, and mold treatment. The crew removed old fiberglass insulation and installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to seal out ground moisture. SilverGlo insulation panels were added for energy savings, and a SuperSump pump system with IceGuard and LawnScape outlets was installed to manage water intrusion. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and Mold-X2 treatment completed the project, ensuring a clean and healthy environment.
Now, Steve enjoys a dry, energy-efficient crawl space that supports a healthier home. If you’re facing moisture or mold issues, start with a free estimate today:
